Introduction:
We are looking for Sushi Man capable of preparing and serving high quality sushi. You will be responsible for preparing sushi according to the menu, maintaining the freshness of the ingredients. The ideal candidate must have knowledge of sushi techniques, attention to detail and a passion for Asian cuisine. Join us in providing authentic and delicious sushi to our customers.
Role and responsibilities;
- Creates a rich sushi menu, with different main ingredients as well as raw fish (salmon, tuna, unagi);
- Prepares all types of sushi including maki, nigiri and sashimi;
- Select products for the preparation of high-quality dishes;
- Recommend new modern recipes;
- Regular inventory of food supplies and other products;
- Preparing different types of sushi dishes according to established guidelines for quality, portion size, presentation and food safety;
- Responsible for preparing high-quality food while maintaining hygiene standards.
Qualifications:
- Professional diploma in Culinary, Kitchen School or similar fields, various trainings;
- Experience of at least 2 years in the restaurant, kitchen and management industry;
- Ability to solve problems efficiently;
- Good time management skills;
- Be motivated and energetic;
- Professional ethics and always willing.
Nice to have:
- Formal training in sushi making or Japanese cuisine.
- Skill in traditional sushi techniques and knife skills.
- Ability to create visually appealing sushi dishes.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Creativity: Ability to create innovative sushi rolls and plates.
